Real-time CPR feedback on the force and rate of compressions!

Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in New Zealand and can happen to anyone, anywhere at anytime. Immediate treatment is vital and for every minute defibrillation is delayed, the patient’s chance of survival reduces by approximately 10%.1 Tragically, currently only 11% of people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.2

The HeartSine Automated External Defibrillator (AED) SAM 500P meets the needs of two key links in the chain of survival. Not only can it deliver a life-saving shock, but it also provides real-time visual and verbal feedback on the force and rate of CPR compressions, effectively assisting the rescuer to perform quality CPR.

Features:

REAL-TIME CPR FEEDBACK

  • Integrated real-time CPR feedback. Easy-to-understand visual and voice prompts guide the rescuer through the entire resuscitation process, including CPR.

READY TO GO:

  • Unique pediatric-pak. Delivers the appropriate energy level for children between one and eight years of age, or up to 25 kg (55 lb).
  • Protection from dust and water. Offers IP56 rating - one of the highest ratings in the industry.
  • Clinically validated technology.3 Proprietary electrode technology and SCOPE biphasic technology that automatically adjusts for differences in patient resistance.
  • Portable. The lightest and most compact among leading AEDs, it’s easily transported and fits into small spaces.

SIMPLE TO OWN:

  • Two parts, one expiration date. The innovative Pad-Pak is an integrated battery and electrode single-use cartridge with one expiration date. It offers one simple maintenance change every four years.
  • Low cost of ownership. Has a shelf life of four years, which may offer savings over other defibrillators that need separate battery and electrode replacements.
  • Eight-year device warranty. Backed by an 8-year warranty.
