It is compact and light enough to fit in an airway bag and be readily transported to the patient's side. Since there is no need to manually pump the unit, it is easier to control the catheter tip and clear the airway.

The short, wide fluid path enables the Quickdraw Suction Unit to evacuate thick, chunky fluids more easily. A two position regulator is built into the disposable canister to provide lower negative pressure when indicated. The standard unit comes supplied with a rechargeable battery pack.

We can now provide a unit fitted with an alkaline battery pack which is disposable. This unit does not need to remain on charge, the pre-charged alkaline battery pack provides power for instantaneous use. It is therefore suitable for emergency disaster packs, mobile emergency units, any situation where battery recharging is undesirable.

The run time on a new alkaline battery pack is 3 hours. If not used the batteries have a long shelf life of 2 years. When in use a warning light shows when the battery has only 5-10 minutes of constant suctioning left allowing time to replace the same.

Different configurations of the unit, collection cartridges, battery choice are designed to suit any situation.
