Upgrade your approach in defibrillation with online management!
Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in New Zealand and can happen to anyone, anywhere at anytime. Immediate treatment is vital and for every minute defibrillation is delayed, the patient’s chance of survival reduces by approximately 10%.1 Tragically, currently only 11% of people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.2
AEDs are effective only if they are close at hand and ready to work. The LIFEPAK CR2 Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Wi-Fi uses LIFELINKcentral AED Program Manager to monitor each connected CR2 and alerts you to anything that may affect device readiness (e.g battery, location, servicing, etc.) This helps prevent unnecessary delays and gives even minimally trained first responders with the tools they need to save lives.
Features:
- Fast time to first shock3 with cprINSIGHT™ analysis. Previously, CPR had to be paused for the defibrillator to analyse the heart rhythm, requiring rescuers to pause CPR on the chest for 10 seconds or more, impacting survival rates. Now, with cprINSIGHT™ analysis technology, the LIFEPAK CR2 analyses for a shockable rhythm during chest compressions with no need to pause.
- LIFELINKcentral™ AED program manager. Whether you have one AED or 100, know the readiness status and location of each one. Battery not charged? AED not where it’s supposed to be? You’ll get an alert through the LIFELINKcentral AED program, reducing the effort and expense of managing your AED program.
- Simple, bold graphics and two-step design. For an untrained responder, intervening in an emergency can be intimidating. The LIFEPAK CR2 Wi-Fi removes the guesswork so users can start helping to save a life in just two steps with simple graphics, audible instructions and automated features.
- High escalating energy. Up to 360J for more effective shocks as needed.
- Metronome and CPR coaching. Quickly sets an effective pace and audibly guides users with prompts that continually advise correct technique and depth.
- ClearVoice™ technology. Detects background noise and adjusts tones and voice so they can be heard clearly in noisy environments.
- QUIK-STEP™ electrodes. Peel directly off base for fast placement.
- Bilingual. Toggle between two pre-set languages when using the device.
- Child mode. Delivers reduced energy and CPR guidance appropriate for children, without having to change electrodes.
- LIFEPAK TOUGH™. IP55 rating for challenging environments.
- Eight-year device warranty. Backed by an 8-year warranty.
